Deadline is reporting Michael Eisner, a former CEO of the Walt Disney Company and his company, Tornante will finance and develop a big screen adaptation of Garbage Pail Kids. For those who may be too young to remember, Garbage Pail Kids was a series of trading cards from the 80s that were parodies of another 80s icon, Cabbage Patch Kids. Short film/commercial director PES will direct from a script by Mike Vukadinovich. 
At the height of its popularity, Garbage Pail Kids spawned short lived animated series and an absolutely dreadful and slightly disturbing live action film. Watch the trailer here, if you dare…
